YenetaYYC is a growing Calgary-based non-profit organization dedicated to strengthening community ties through cultural education and inclusive programming. One of its key initiatives is offering free Amharic language classes for youth aged 5 and up — welcoming anyone with any level of Amharic language ability. The classes are taught by Getenet Tafesse every Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm, with no registration fee required, making it an accessible opportunity for families and young learners to connect with language and culture.
